THE STORY
A reminder that all my pictures are taken with my phone camera. I am going for a punk, low-fi look. The real wonder is how good some of them come out. I do use the editing to tweak the colour and light a bit but no more than a photographer will use in a dark room. No AI or any of that hitech nonsense. this needs to feel as real as it was when i saw and shot it. This picture could probably be knocked up in two milliseconds but i want you to share my journey and hopefully enjoy the spontaneity and rough and ready feel.
A verry close-up shot this one, from the upstairs front seat of a Dublin bus,i think it’s sumptuous and dreamy, absorbing and just lovely. It’s almost abstract. There’s that pareidolia again with what looks like an elfin stern chinny face in the top right, but for me the real beauty of this picture is the way the rain and condensation cause a million little mirrors or blobs of different coloured light throughout.
